Well, guess who called. No other than the one and only. Mikey says he’s kind of leery on going out there because of the neighbors. Never really thought about that. He says if they see the car it would blow it. He asked about Anna and I tried to get off the subject as soon as possible because it is me he’s calling. Told him that she wasn’t at school and I saw her for a little bit Friday. When he called he asked if Kamie, Jamie etc. and I started laughing and he said Julie. I said "why of course". He said "I almost forgot your phone number, too". I told him he needs to get his brain checked. He said “Yeah it’s freezing out here, I’m about brain dead.” We made plans on meeting at the library tomorrow 4pm. Told him about me volunteering for four years. He said “oh” he asked if it was FHA or what? I told him that Anna and Caroline got me doing it. And then he asked if Anna was still doing it. I told him not anymore. He also told me he would check her schedule because that’s what got us on the topic of the nursing home.

We looked at when he had court and what games I was going to and for him to call me back tonight if possible I reassured him that it would be OK and that we only had one phone with a long cord. He didn’t talk long because he hadn’t checked in with his oldest daughter yet, but he would try to call me back.

I love that boy we talked about Grandma and how she wasn’t doing too good and how my Uncle Ed was in the hospital. I told him that he was one of the few uncles I get along with on my dad side. He said “that’s good.” (I was thinking yeah but he almost died yesterday.) I said there’s five uncles on my dad side and out of them I can’t stand two of them, I get along with two, and I don’t know the other one - it’s been eight years, since I'd seen him..

We talked about the letter that I added six pages to. He said “if I don’t hurry it up and get it you’ll have a book” (Isn’t that funny since I talked about that in the letter.) He told me to put the dates of the games on the letter and I told him I did on one of the others and he asked “which one?” and I said “I don’t know, but it should’ve been thrown away by now.” He laughed. I would have asked, but I don’t mind as long as his wife doesn’t find them. I never used my name in it. I don’t think so anyway.

We talked about school and lunchtime 1140 to 1220 I told him mine was 1250 to 110 and he said “that’s a long time to wait.” I said “that’s OK with me I don’t eat anyway” he said “did you say 1240 or 50?” I repeated the time and he said “20 minutes that don’t give you any time.” “Now you see why I don’t eat” He said, “really you might have enough time to smell the food.”

We also talked about what would happen if I had to tell my parents that I was pregnant. He said he was glad that he had taken care of that along time ago and that we didn’t have to worry about it.

And how I haven’t missed any days of school since eighth grade. He said that proves how much I like education.

When we were getting ready to hang up he said he had to go check in and I said “well then I’ll probably hear from you tonight.” He said “I will call tonight if I can” or something like that. He also said that I would hear from him again. I love that boy with all my heart, plus more.

We talked about license plates because he was wondering what my mom‘s was and I told him what the last three numbers were. He saw a blue escort go by. Then I said "I know mine" and said what it was and he said yep and then did my license plate using police codes.. (Which reminded me that I wanted to get Anna to get me a list of that stuff.) Then I said “I also know yours" He asked "what it was" and I told him the first three and stopped he said “OK got the first three right” then I finished it and he said I had it right. I wonder if he knew mine by heart like I know his. I bet he did. And like always I forgot to ask about the fair of 93 one of these days I will remember.
