JayCee's Story and Healing Process

This blog will start out wit JayCee's journal from October 1993 to August 1995. She will change the names in the journal and town it takes place in to protect those involved. There will be some sections that will be edited from the original journal due too much details in the activities taking place, but JayCee will tell her story has close to the original journal she wrote as it was happening (Give or take some days as she would get behind in writing in the journal. This journal has helped her through a lot while it was happening and through the years as she grew and healed from the pain "Mikey" caused her. The real police officer involved went through multiple nicknames throughout the time period, but to help keep people from get confused, JayCee has decided to use just the nickname "Mikey" which even today she can't stand the name.

JayCee will reflect on the red flags throughout the relationship and educate not only with information from articles she has read, but also her own growth and healing as she starts to read her journals through an adults eyes and not the 16 to 18 year old she was when it was happening.
